Uri Jerzy Nachimson, was born in Szczecin, Poland in 1947 And raised in Israel. In 1966, he was drafted into the Israeli army and participated in the Six-Day War as a military photographer in combat. After three years of military service, he was admitted to medical school at the University of Padua, Italy. In 2008 he relocated to Tuscany, Where he lives and works.
